Ripoff on Magazine Subscription, nonresponsive customer service

I was writing to let you know that I placed a subscription order through Mags On the Net on 07/06/05 and I have yet to receive my subscription. I was notified by Mags on the Net that my first issue would arrive in 8-12 weeks and as you can tell we are well passed that fulfillment timeframe.

When I contacted their support team on November 17th regarding this, their Office Manager notified me that they would check with the publisher and get back to me in 10 business days - I have yet to hear back from them.

I contacted them again last week regarding my subscription, letting them know that I would be canceling my subscription and initiating a chargeback with my credit card company if I did not hear back from them in 2 business days. I still have not heard from them and it has been almost 6 MONTHS since I placed my order.

This company is also not taking customer service calls through their toll free number. They are only accepting complaints and issues via email.

I work for a credit card processing company in the Risk Management area and I have a lot of experience with fraud and fraudulent companies. I would bet money that Mags on the Net is one step away from either being fined by Visa or MasterCard for excessive fraudulent transactions, having their merchant account closed, or going bankrupt.

I highly recommend that NO ONE uses their services.
