S RIPOFF ID Theft Calling People, Calling Themselves a "Government Agency"

I got this call from a man with a foreign accent, and he represented himself as being with a Government Agency. The more I asked him for the name of his agency, the more he dodged my questions. I asked him where he was located, and he said, "New York City."

I then told him that I needed to do a search on the Internet, and that I needed the exact name of the agency he worked for. He then let it slip that "my company" was interested in giving me a grant. I noted the verbal slip and he finally told me that he was from the "Grant Association Services."

I did a Google search and found this site, for which I am most grateful. The fact that this man misrepresented his company as being part of the Federal Government must be shared with the authorities!

I hope the FBI and the FTC catch the crooks responsible. They need to be investigated and be forced to take responsibility for whatever crimes they have committed against innocent people.
