NAPSR has indicated that their advisory board list is available to consumers, yet on the occasions when I've contacted them, I have been told that the list would be emailed to me later (& never was) or that it's not available. Given that NAPSR's advisory board list seems to be inconveniently located or nonexistent, I've tried to make it easy for then to respond by asking only for a specific company's representative. Nothing. This, combined with other research, leads me to believe that there is no advisory board.
I have also contacted NAPSR to speak with a PharmD or "physician training staff" member that NAPSR claims to have. Apparently there is no way to verify these individuals exist either because NAPSR is very evasive about them, and it is impossible to speak with a member of this supposed "staff." Any consumer remotely interested in anything from this company should utilize some caution. A company that makes false claims in order to profit is dishonest and unethical. It's easy to make tall claims when consumers don't bother to check the facts. Buyer beware and do a little research before investing with NAPSR. At a minimum, request to speak with someone who is currently in the pharmaceutical industry, and verify the claim with his or her stated employer. Having viewed NAPSR's training manual, I am quite certain that it was not written by experienced pharmaceutical employees. Claims to the contrary are unfortunate for consumers trying to break into pharmaceutical sales.
