I had a series of small strokes, and in January had a large one, requiring nursing home. I had a bounced check to Giant Eagle supermarket. Much of my disability check went to the nursing home, and when I returned home in April I began paying my bills. Using AR's form, I filled out authroization for them to collect the 305.97 on May 3. As soon as they got the form, they withdrew it from my account, causing my gas and water bill to bounce, and overdrawing my account. So far, the bank has charged me 44.00, and gas and water 30.00 and 20.00.
For 3 days I tried to contact them. They have a website, but the email using their link came back, and every time I call the phone number, no matter what department I choose—even operator-
I get voicemail. No one returns my calls. I filed with the BBB and FTC, as well as my attorney general.
