Ripoff taking your hard earned money with no remorse how can people do these things Do they have no morals or values

I am a mother of 2 children and a hard-working student from PA. When this company called me I was hopeful to get some much needed money for bills and my children and myself. I stupidly gave them my account info to withdraw 29.95 with hopes on recieving my package in the 4-5 days they promised. I asked them many questions on the phone and I recieved verification that

1. I was to be charged 29.95
2. I would recieve my gov. Grants verification package in 4-5 days
3. I would DEFINATELY get 12,500 in 4-6 weeks after I filled out the verification form.

What I actually got was, in 6 days, a welcome letter with info on their health care plan and that I would receive my gov. Grant package in 3-4 weeks AFTER I agreed to pay 299.95 UNLESS I cancel. How am i supposed to cancel if the cust. SERVICE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME IS WRONG? Some poor guy answered the phone and said he had a few phone calls to that number about the same thing - he figured there was some sort of scam going on. I AM NOT HAPPY.

Now I think I may have to close my bank account so they dont try and take out the 299.95 which I dont have. $29.95 was feesible. $300 is NOT. I hope these people do not get away with this. I would like to do everything in my power to see that they don't. If anyone would like to contact me please feel free. They're lucky I don't have the time or money because my butt would be knocking on their door in NC and they would not like to deal with me. I was happy for a chance to help my kids and not only have they screwed with me and others like me, but they've (in my eyes) screwed with my kids and now I'm NOT HAPPY.
