I purchased two DVDs on ebay totaling $55.00 USD. A couple weeks later, I received an e-mail stating the following:
Hi, my name is jessica or better know as jessica5857 on ebay. Well there is a little something i would like to tell all of you. Some of you already know and i'm sure some of you are still in the dark. I tried to get everybody's email address that bought from me on ebay to let you know whats going on.
Well, you really were'nt buying from me on ebay, a company was selling their items on an ebay account that was set up strictly for their purpose. Somehow this company got my email address and wrote to me saying that they found my resume online and i could sell for them on ebay. Because once i was on monster.com and it asked me if i wanted all employers to see my resume, because i was looking for a job at that time and that is how they must have saw my resume and information. But anyways, all i needed to do was set up an ebay and paypal account for them to sell on. I didn't have any of the dvds. What i was supposed to do was once i received your paypal payment i was to withdraw it from my paypal and bank account and send them the money in a money order to the address that is given below and then they were supposed to ship out the items once they received the money order. I found out within 2 days of selling for them that this company probably is a fraud and nobody's money was ever sent to them from my paypal account, thank god that i didn't send it to them. Everybody who paid through paypal to MY paypal account was refunded as of yesturday. If your money was sent to somebody else's paypal account, like some of the buyers were telling me it was sent to some edward guy or who knows who else, but everybody who paid in my paypal account was refunded.
If you received your item that is wonderful, but if you didn't and your money was sent to some place other than my paypal account (in other words if you didn't get a refund then it didn't go to my paypal account) i don't have your money and i am not the one who you should be contacting. Nobody's checks or money orders were sent to my home. I am really sorry if you got ripped off, but i got screwed as well because they left me with $302 and some change of ebay fees. This company used ME to take your money and god knows who else they ripped off.
I reported this company to the ifcc and paypal knows about them as well, i put a case in through paypal about this company. Hopefully the ifcc investigates this company and they are caught and you all get your money back if you didn't receive your items.
If you did receive your items then disreguard this email, i just wanted everybody to know who bought from me the situation. I don't know who received their items and who didn't. All i know is the people that i refunded from MY paypal account. If you are one of the ones who still didn't receive your items or a refund, i have some of the company's information that i am more then happy to give to you. For starters i have two email addresses that they wrote to me from and they are, [email protected] and [email protected]. See, they only put the dvds for sale on the ebay account to make sure everything was set up correct because what i was supposed to sell was vacation packages, not dvds. The [email protected] banned me from writing to them so i couldn't get a hold of them through that email address but i was able to write to the second one. They also gave me their website address it is, www.fly4nothing.com also, i have the ceo's name and some sort of address that is

Whatever you choose to do with the information i provided you with is up to you, but i am not the one who you should be coming after, because believe me I SWEAR TO GOD that i don't have anybody's money and i am not the kind of person who would take anybody's money. I just got mixed up with some bad people if they really are a fraud.
Also, don't write to the [email protected] email because that was set up for the company to write back to the buyers if they had any question and i don't check that and also don't write back to this email because i won't be checking it, because i don't have any other information to give you guys.
I am really sorry if you did get ripped off, but what happened to me could have happened to you and just put yourself in my position. Again, i am truely sorry from the bottom of my heart. I just want everybody to believe me because do you think that i would have went through all this trouble and write down everybody's email address and write to you explaining what happened and if i was lieing how could i give you all of the company's information. I just want you to believe me and accept my apology.
Please use the company's information i provided to further investigate this because i don't have any other information or answers for all of you.

So, basically, I lost my money because of this theiving person named Steve Rainey who makes a living by ripping off people like me. AND, there were 27 other people who he ripped off as well. I've filed a claim with PayPal and I would like nothing better than to see this scam-artist caught and thrown in jail. It's not about the money, so much, as it is the fact that this guy is ripped off innocent, trustworthy people.
Let me tell you something, STEVE RAINEY, I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK. And you will be caught.
To any of you who have lost their money because of this man, please, don't stop here. File a report with anyone and everyone you can and let's get this man behind bars. It only takes a few.
And good luck to everyone who has lost money because of this guy.
