This is a buyer beware. I would not go to tech skills if I were you. These guys were really pushing for me to sign up for thier classes. I was looking to get my cisco certifications.
I knew something was up when a 'Lab Tech' walked in advising me to take additional classes that I didnt even need. Then the original salesman walked back in and opened up this brochure with all these different packages. Then I was blindsided by the $7000 price for tuition. He offered using thier credit option. I humored my self by accepting, using my bro as a co signer (killer credit).
They called back telling my that I needed to put some$ down, I declined and told them to forget about it. The salesman tried to win me back by telling me "well, its your future." But I quickly countered that I could go to a accredited college.in any case the credit co adv that I did not pass.
But a week later, lo and behold, they said 'you have been approved, blah, blah, blah.' I quickley told them that I didnt want it, that I already called to cancle the whole deal. This call came back twice. I am so glad that I finally made a good decision (unlike my midland credit screw up).
All I have to say is this, If you really care about your future and want to learn an important skill, do it right. Go to a REAL school. Sorry about my spelling, I am at work right now.
