The Art Institute Of California Los Angeles - AiLA - The Art Institutes International
Ripoff Double Deal with 2nd Collection Agency when debt was paid, also require illegal check by phone method of payment

I attendended The Art Institute of Los Angeles (which has changed it's name since to The Art Istsitute of California - Los Angeles) form July to December. While attending the school the teaching was completely bogus, we were I recall in one class being shown a color wheel like we were five years old.in the Computer Applications Class the teacher was more often late for class than not.in a drawing class were "taught" theory of perspective which again was very basic for me and I has already taught yself how to draw, so this class was a wast of time.

The School was very expensive and the studend don't get that much out of it if anything. All of the Teaching at AiLA involves a lot of B.S. They did warn us that their credits usually do not transfer to other colleges but they claim is because of they specialized nature of the "education, " but know there is a better reason.

I stuck out the first and second quarters hoped thing would get better but they did not. During the Second quarter I Knew I would quit as to not waste any more money.

The Billing is handled by a company Called A&A Financial Services. They called several time to collect payments. Went I made the last payment to them they promised to mail me a letter stating the account was paid in full as a reciept, and they were also moving to a new office at the time.

Day after I made the payment I started receiving phone calls from another Collection Agency which claimed to be collecting on behalf of the Art Institute of Los Angeles. The amount they claim I oxe is very close to the amount I Paid A&A Financial Services.

I know that I paid the Debt and will not pay another cent even if it is ruining my Credit. I can not afford a lawyer as I am a student at SUNY where I am an A student in Business Administration and I work only Part Time.

I just don't want anyone else to fall into the AiLA Trap, remember if Something Sounds to good to be true.
