Hey everyone, i found this site a little late i have already given davison my money unfortunatly and it looks like they are takeing the same exact steps with me that they are with everyone else, however i have one advantage being in the military i have basically free lawyers and legal advice, i think i am just going to ride this out but plan a lawsuit at the same time.
Anyway there was a post here about someone wanting to know how to protect their idea since they have already told it to them of course the best way to do this is with a patent but these are expensive and not everyone has the cash to do this.
I was reading a case from about 1991, basically what this guy did to protect himself was he put his idea in an envelope and sent a certified letter to himself, and left it unopened what this did was put his idea with a government time on it, when he did go to court, (yes a company like this one stole his idea) he presented the envelope to the judge since this envelope was unopened and had been certified as to when it arrived it served as enough evidence for him to win the lawsuit. Now this is not a patent but it is a little something you can do to protect yourself if things go too far.
