I got a gift card for stamps.com for a baby shower gift. I loved it and had no clue you could even do something like that. I thought it was super neat and waited til just the right time to use it. I thought it would be awesome to have my sons 1st birthday pic on the stamps that I sent out invites to the party with. I was so excited. I had professional pictures made. I paid extra for copy release so I could use them on the stamps. Stamps. Coms website says it takes 1-2 days total for processing and 1-3 days total for shipping. I figured 5 days max to recieve the stamps. Yesterday was business day #4 and the stamps had not yet been mailed. After 20 mins on hold, and 15mins talking to a rep they informed me it would be mailed by today. I asked if I could change my shipping and have it over nighted since processing took double what was expected and they couldnt do so. So this morning I took all the birthday invites to post office with regular stamps. I am out the cost of print release for picture studio and out the fun and excitement those stamps could have been on my sons 1st birthday invites. Not something I would recommend.
