Got ripped off on return of chairs

My wife and I purchased two media chairs with an extended warranty. All went well with the chairs for about 8-9 months when one of the chairs needed service. I called, they came out, diagnosed it needed parts, ordered the parts but the wrong parts came in. The repair guy took pictures this time and again they sent the wrong parts to the house. The guy was so made at the warehouse sending the wrong parts both times.in addition to this, he must have damaged the mechanics of the chair because it would bind when putting the leg up. His recommendation: return the chairs because they don't have the parts nor do they sell them anymore!

So they came by, picked up the chairs and a few days later I was expected 100% refund.instead they held back $105 for original delivery and $259 for the extended warranty. My wife called and got nowhere with the managers or agents who talked to her. She explained that she could see the holdback for the delivery charge but not the extended warranty. Matter of fact, if we didn't get the extended warranty there would be no way to hold that money back since we wouldn't have paid for it.

JC Penny should be completely held accountable for their mis-guided policy. Holding back about 20% of the amount paid when we were completely victimized by their crew is completely wrong. It seems like there isn't anything more we can do about this now except to expose the ripoffs as they are.
