I saw this on TV and really liked it and sucker as I was ordered it. It was advertised as buy one get one free plus bonuses including large stainless steel pan, steamer basket, fondue kit, cookbook, DVD, 2 non stick pans, etc. I received none of these
The salesman told me if I paid in full I would get an extra year warranty free so I did. I did not receive any paperwork in my box.
Package came unopened had only the two cooktops. I, of course, assumed another package on the way. Waited 10 days no package. Began to call Hearthware and get answering machine. All circuts are busy please leave phone number, oredr number and reason for call and we will get back to you. Have called several days, several times of day and no return calls. Always get the same recording. I saw an email address inresponse to a Ripoff report and contacted that yesterday.
I will wait two more days and then file a dispute with my credit card company.
I feel this is false advertising and think the TV stations should be aware of what Hearthware is doing.
