Bad Service & Customer Service - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My experience with skips tires in scotts valley, has never been pleasant. My family and I have been taking our cars to skips for 15 years now and I feel that I have never been treated with any respect! I can't even explain how many tire studs were stripped and broken when I would get my car back for a simple tire patch.

About six months ago, I got a hole in my left rear tire in the side wall, a year before that I bought that exact tire at skips along with a matching one for the other side. A total of two brand new tires for my rear, but being terrified that something would go wrong I purchased the extra $30 roadside assistance on each tire. I brought the tire that had a hole in it to skips, they told me that I had to purchase another new tire because they "don't mess with side walls." The next 5 minutes they explained why until I interrupted with saying, "then why did I pay an extra $30 on each tire?" They never search my name or car or anthing but when i told them about that they said I can get a free brand new tire... THANK GOD But no I needed to have my receipt in hand to get the tire. Apparently they're computer system got changed and they lost everyone's information, but that's not my fault because when I bought all the extra stuff I specifically asked if I needed to keep my receipt in my files and I was told no need, it'll be in the computer... Hmmmm so I'm thinking I'm out $200 and kinda freaking out at this point. But the very rude woman telling me all of this was going to lunch at this point so George was taking over. I started the story from the top and he couldn't believe that she told me that there was no hope for me to walk away with a new tire that I pretty much deserved for insuring my old one... He told me that he would do everything he could and look through the paper files for me and to call and check in the next day. I walked out of there so happy!
Next Day, called skips asking for that nice man, george, "george got fired! What can I help you with?"
Started my story again, told him what george was going to do for me, look through the files, and get the bar code so I can finally get my deserved tire... He tried to tell me what the woman told me the day before but I slammed him with what george was doing. Told him that's bad business and all this junk until he told me that he would continue to look for it. It took two days for them to find a piece of paper, but its okay becasue I was getting that tire! Took my car there, signed a piece of paper and drove away with a new tire. Got home and checked everything out to find that there was another stripped stud. Can't win it all...

Not to mention the encounter my boyfriend had today with them. He went to skips to get a strut and spring assembly swapt and they were going to charge him $30 more than the previous time he went in there (4 months ago) and only got charged $15!!
In a hurry he was going to just pay them the $45 but the shop manager RAN THESE PARTS OVER with another customer's minivan...
They tried to tell both of us that they didn't run anything over but the two of us saw it clearly with our own two eyes! Then proceeded to tell us to leave without making a seen. Clearly, run over the parts and not fix them, then tell us to leave!!!???
I write everything in as much detail so nice people like myself and my boyfriend don't get sqeezed for money and don't get treated with such disrepect as we did. I'm sure there are many people out there that paid for unecessary work and were sqeezed for money as well because they just didn't know better, but I do.
