In 2008 we had a fire in our home caused by lightning. We hired SERVPRO for repairs - it's been 3 years and I am still experiencing trauma from the poor job perfomance - poor, cheap and even used materials, contract not followed that was prepared by adjuster, no receipts, job never completed, my furniture was destroyed because they stored it in our garage and used it as workbenches. There was no cleaning done as promised, no videotaping, most of the furniture was not even moved back into our home. We are having to pay for additional repairs out of pocket because of the poor poor job they did. I am very distressed. I did write to Corporate and got no satisfaction. They even lied to corporate and told them they cleaned our furnace when they didn't. No ozoning was done. We paid them over $60000 and they sent another fraudlent supplement to our insurance adjuster. I believe the company trains their franchises this way - apparant from the numerous complaints I've read that are so similar to our experience. When we didn't pay the additional invoice that they continued to send (for what? Duplicate charges!) they tried to sue us. We can't believe this company can get away with operating this way.in any other company, someone would be fined heavily and face jail time for fraud.
