I engaged Precision Overhead Garage Door to repair my non working door. The mechanic arrived and immediately determined I needed a new spring at a cost of $479. He lweft and I called him back since the door did not work. He adjusted thee chain and said everything would be fine. It wasn't I had him return and he dismanteled the motor. With paar s all over the garage floor he told me he couldn't fix it and he would have to install a new motor at acost of$187. I could operate the door manualy if I chose. I am an 83 year old woman and doubt that I wantd to lift the door. I had no choice but to have the new motor installed. I feel I was victimized and I shuld be reimbursed since he deesroyed the motor and fr om the beginning couldn't make the repair.
