When the front door lock failed at 7pm at night I called Beantown Locksmith. The company sent someone within 30-40 minutes. He suggested I upgrade my lock as it is for the front door to a 3 family house and offered to sell me one for almost $300 plus installation! I rejected his offer and asked for a stop gap measure - moving the lock from an unused door to the front door which cost $ 150.
Well Mass Ave Lock came today and sold me the upgraded lock for $100 plus a reasonable installation price. I wish I had contacted them the night I had my problem.
I think Mass Ave Lock is looking for good customers while Beantown Locksmith is in it for the quick buck.
The Locksmith sent out by Beeantown Locksmith said he worked for another company and did not know anything about Beantown Locksmith. I think Beantown Locksmith probably is just a website and has contracts with other companies to provide service.
Best bet is to try to hold out to daylight hours and call a real company not a website owner.
