On Feb. 28 There was a insert in the weekly paper advertising hardy lavender plants. 12 plants for $18 plus shipping and handling of $4.95. So I sent a check for the amount and on March 11 or 12 2004 it was cashed by springrivernurseries. Since then it has been two months and I never received any plants. I've called them a few times with no response to my calls at all. I have recently seen another add in the weekly newspaper inserts for the plants and have kept a copy of it. I was think that who every makes up these inserts should look into checking out these companies a little closer instead of just thinking about filling ads that they need too. Just so that they can make some money advertising them.
Because this company SPRINGRIVERNURSERIES might have paid them to run the ad but all the consumers who get ripped off from them lose out and they make alot more than what it cost them to run the ad in the first place.
