I purchased a side table from Furniture Buzz online on 8/8. $215.62 was debited from my account and I received an email confirmation with order #. The confirmation indicated the item would ship directly from the manufacturer's warehouse (Hooker Furniture). After a week or so, I checked online for my shipping status and to my surprise, the website was blank with a message that read "Furniture Buzz has gone out of business". There was no communication, no forwarding information, nothing to go on. I tried to call the customer service number on my confirmation and just got a recorded message that the number has been disconnected and no further information is available. I then called Hooker Furniture direct and asked them to verify the order number which they could not. And I was told that if they have gone out of business, Hooker would not ship any items on behalf of that company. As of today, 8/22 the website is back up and advertising a sale through Aug 22. I am still unable to contact anyone there.
