So despite the bad reviews Maher ensured me that it was all a misunderstanding, in fact he told me he had no idea of who these people where. (stupid me) I hired Maher from SCD Painting to paint my townhouse and what do you know, he did it to me. Maher showed up the first day 45mins. Late spilled paint all over my drive way.By the time he had it cleaned day one was over. Despite what i read he actually came back the next day, it was at noon but at least he had shown up. That is where my frustration began. Maher stated that he would require an extra 1500.00 dollars to complete the project that he had not even started, if i didn't pay he would lean my house. And so he did. Is there any protection for the consumer in this case. It seems the builders lein act protects and blankets the criminal tradesmen who take our money and never return. Please beware of maher and scd painting
