Ordered item #LC20, Clearview 20lb Propane tank on 6/22, expecting to use it for the 4th of July weekend. On Saturday July 2nd, I had to rent a vehicle and travel beyond city limits to pick up the item from FedEx.
I realized immediately that the package was incorrect despite a shipping label and invoice which had "20lb LP tank" clearly typed on it. Rather than have to reship it I simply refused it. Since it was after hours, I sent an email explaining the situation and requested immediate attention.By Tuesday July 5th, there was no response so I called and spoke to 'Megan'.
She offered to reship the correct item as well some free 'cast iron conditioner'. I told her I needed the tank by Friday in order to make up for the event I could not cook for during the 4th of July weekend. She agreed to Express Ship it and I received an email verifying the transaction.
She then calls me Wednesday July 6th to inform me they are out of stock. I could not respond the way I wanted to because I was at work. I returned home and placed a call around 3pm and spoke to 'Katie'. I asked for a manager and she placed me on hold and then I was forwarded to her email. I called back and she claims the manager is in a meeting and will give me a call back... Still no call back or response to email.
