Warning to all Vendors: We strongly advise you to not accept ANY business or personal checks from Brentley Lawrence Massey of Brentley's Landscape and Construction! He has a lengthy criminal history regarding theft and NSF checks (look it up; it's public information) and he knows exactly how to play the system to his advantage. I can only assume he is more skilled at writing hot checks than he is skilled at the actual services his business provides.
So - Important warning to all customers that have previously hired Brentley's Landscape and Construction: Your home and property are now subject to liens if the materials originally purchased by this company for installation on your property were illegally obtained. We strongly suggest you check with your local county.
Also, important warning to all CURRENT customers of Brentley's Landscape and Construction; if you wish to protect yourselves and hold this man accountable, you need to demand a signed and notarized lien waiver from each of his suppliers. If he refuses to comply, then you can surmise your new materials are actually stolen materials. DO NOT let yourself be his next victim!
