Advanced metal roofing co. Lied to me and caused me, a 77 year old woman, uncalled for stress by not returning my check for 1000 dollars after I cancelled with them. We cancelled withind 1 business day of the contract and they will not return my money. Robin the check lady and Bruce or Bryce keep telling me that I need to prove they cashed my check which we did. This was close to 30 days ago and still no check. Our attorney told us that NC statues say they can not take our money until 3rd business day at midnight after contract. They are also by law supposed to return our money within 10 business days of cancelling. This company is very deceptive in their ways. They tried to charge us 15000 dollars for a single wide trailer only 14x65. The other companies that gave us estimates were all around $4500-6500. We told them we would have our attorney call them and they said they will send the check out today. I will post here again if it has not been sent. I think they need better managment. I will also report to better BBB and attorney general. Beware of this company!!
