George Kise' work was seen at a prestigous craft fair (October). After many attempts to contact him, a custom order was placed for a wooden sign (December). My credit card was hit right away, and after many attempts to follow up with him via phone and email because it was past due, a cancellation letter was sent via registered letter (March).
Two months later the item was received with a spelling error. Many attempts were made to contact him but to no avail. The sign was returned (May). A report was written on line with the Better Business Bureau and many attempts were made with my credit card company to retrieve the money, also to no avail.
The NY State Attorney General's office contacted me (August) to see if i would be appropriate for me to file a claim. The claim was filed and many communications took place with that office.
