The Developers at Red Frog Beach promised to build us a home that was to be up to US standards. The contract was signed in 2006. The home was to have 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, central air and heat. Some time in 2008 there was a labor strike that lasted about a year. At about that time, and without our consent or knowledge, the plans of the home changed. It was now a 3 bedroom home and instead of central air, the bedrooms now had window units. The people at Red Frog have refused to acknowledge these changes and have insisted that we close on the home. After telling them that we were canceling our contract, they ignored our request and proceeded with plans for the closing.in December of we received a certificate of Occupancy and were told that the closing would take place in February 15 and that we could do a walk through on February 14th. A construction engineer that we hired to oversee the construction of the home was sent to do the required walk through but was told when he arrived at the property, that he could not do a final walk-through prior to closing. We did manage to get some pictures of the property that showed that there were no appliances installed, cabinets that needed to be installed and painted, flooring that needed to be installed and a house full of furniture that was purchased was nowhere to be seen.
