My new Ford F150 had a chip in the paint on the roof I wanted the service dept to fix, and their answer to me was to buy some touchup paint and fix it myself.
This was a brand new truck and under warranty and I did not notice the chip until I had a step ladder washing the roof of the truck. Needless to say I am not happy with their service department.
The service department installed after market body side molding that was so thin that it offers no protection from other car doors denting my truck. When I showed them the problem they said there was nothing they could do about it.
What they could have done is told me up front the molding would not protect my doors and saved my a couple of hundred bucks.
Needless to say I am not thrilled about the customer service at this dealership.
