American Top Remodeling came to my home and promised me a 5-star bathroom. They sent a day laborer, who didn't speak English and he totally messed my bathroom up. I now am without a second bathroom.
They did the job such that when the shower would be turned on, water would get between the tile job (poor) and the wall and would create mold, and health issues in my home.
I've gone to 5 agencies either via phone or over the internet.
They acknowledge no wrongdoing and refuse to refund me my money.
The matter is now in the hands of the State of California's Contractor State license board.
I know I will end up going to small claims court and after that will seek lawful means to retrieve the $5500 that I gave them to do the job.
I am hoping that some of these consumer websites will put the pressure on them to close their business as they are liars and cheats.
