The two parking spaces with each unit are not actually deeded spots like other condominiums projects. Basically, you do not own those spaces like the River House sales team would lead you to believe. You simply lease both spaces from the developer. If Mr. Grooters would of done the honorable thing, and truely give two parking spaces with each unit, (deeded in your name) you would have to pay taxes on each spot, even then, the taxes would be alot less than having to pay to lease both spots. Furthermore, when you visit www.grriverhouse.com, it shows a savings chart under "Affordable Living", but fails to mention the parking expenses. Why would Mr. Grooters fail to mention this monthly payment, which in time, will only increase?
So in fact, your making 3 monthly payments: mortgage, maintenance fees, and parking leases.
