I met Virginia many years ago, when I was 16. At the time, she told me that as a 16 year old, I could easily make tens of thousands of dollars and be able to help my family, since, any good child wants to help their parents. The way she described real estate investing is it was a "sure thing, " I would easily be able to get a buyer and I was sure to make a profit. She said she would partner with me and guide me through the process step by step, since she had done a lot of investments and was experienced in this. Since both I and my parents had very little information at that time on real estate investing, I fell for all of her lies, hook, line and sinker, as did several of my friends.
I didn't have what she was charging then, $4,000 for her class, so I paid for it through my labor. I put in easily $8,000 in renovations to her house to pay for her real estate classes.in the end, I found out that her information was not only useless and beyond that dangerous. I requested a refund yet she refused to give it to me. And I continued, over the years to try to get her to give me fair compensation for all my work and she promised over and over again that she would do this yet never did. The only silver lining in her scam is that I didn't actually follow her advise and get myself into a situation that I would have no way of getting myself out of. What real estate information she gave sounded like it was out of the mouths of some 1980s no money down guru.
Years later, I discovered that her house, which she no longer owns, originally belonged to her mother, who died. This wasn't acquired with no money down like she lead on. There were no records of her actually participating in ANY real estate transactions at all.
To make a long story short, SCAM ARTIST. And beyond that, scumball for taking advantage of a child. And beyond that, using your own child, Tosca, as a pawn. Virginia, is there nothing you won't do? Do you have any morals at all? I think not.
