Early this year, we meet scot at a home and garden show in Dallas. We have a pool that is about 20 years old, and needs to be replastered as well as some deck work.
My wife has taught hish school in this area for over 25 years, amd recognised Scot as a previous student. We talked with him, but descided not to do anything right then.in fact we had dropped the idea fro this year, until late october when Scot called and indicated he was looking for work.
To make a long story short. We have given him about 10k, and have no additional work done, other than to set one row of tile. Scot's phones have been cut off again, my guess is he is just broke, and was just trying to finish another pool, most likely with our money.
I found out today he has a $1000 hot check at Noble Tile Supply. I told him today to bring back what materials he had not used, and refund our money, he said we were even with the work he has done.
He has STOLEN $10,000 from us, Beware. We went to the Police last night, they are working on this. I am going to follow up with all Tile suppliers adn Trade show promoters.
He has to be stopped!!!
