In violation of state law, Camden refuses to provide any tenant with an executed copy of their lease. This was merely somewhat sketchy, until they took that opportunity to 'disappear' a copy of my lease renewal, insist I was month to month, then jack my rent up 50%. This, despite a faxed copy, dozens of emails, and recorded phone calls pertaining to the lease.
This is interesting, because due to various clerical errors, I had to sign that renewal no less than four times.
They also now insist, in violation of an FCC M&O issued last year, that not only everyone have cable TV, but that they must be the vendor.
If you're even considering renting here, I invite you to Google around — 80% of their customers would not rent from them again. They have a real problem.
The two individuals in their leasing office in Scottsdale that are most involved in this fraud are Patti Peigh and Erin Farris.
If you are a current tenant — They will pull a jack move sooner or later. Please don't let them get away with it.
