I ordered an outdoor light post which was listed as solid brass. It arrived much later than originally anticipated & after it was cut for installation, my electrician told me it was aluminum.
When I called to complain, Mike, the manager, said that was impossible. He then called his supplier in a conference call with me listening to the conversation, whereby the supplier admitted that it was aluminum.
The only remedy Mike offered was to have the post uninstalled & mailed back to Sunrise. He was not willing to compensate me for the difference in cost.
Having the post removed after paying to have it installed would not make sense.
So, if you are looking for solid brass, it would suggest not purchasing it from Sunrise because it probably will not be solid brass.
