I contracted with this company while out of state to maintain my yard while I tried to sell the property. Our initial company we worked with failed to mow the lawn and the grass was high. We explained the situation about our grass being high and we renegiotiated to pay 2 1/2 times the normal fee to get the first cut done. They cut the grass.
We got a call that day from a neighbor to tell us that they cut the grass however the clippings were not bagged nor raked nor ever picked up. We called the company and asked, the worker stated his truck was too full and he'd have to go back for it.
One month later we arrived back to the property to find 80% of our grass was dead due to the fact that inches of long grass clumped and matted to our lawn was never picked up from the first cutting a month prior.
We spent an entire day raking with an industrial metal tooth rake to try to seperate the dead layering of grass from the ground as it had fused with the ground killing everything underneath it, included our grass.
To make matters worse, we cut the grass our selves, what little was left, on June 22. Apparently this professional lawn company (as advertised) deem that the lawn need another cut after on 3 days and billed me for it. They didn't know I came back from out of state to get something in order.
Ultimately, they took advantage of the fact I was out of state. The did cut my grass and I paid them for it. Just beware, if you ever use this company (which I certainly do not recommend) make sure to watch them like a hawk, they like to shortcut when not being watched.
