In Feb I ordered $8,000 worth of furniture from Jan at Parker Furniture. Since I was on a time restraint she assured me since the fabric was in that the furniture would be delivered in a fraction of the normal time. She also told me I would get a 35% off spring sale price and an additional 15% designer discount. None of this happened.
After speaking with the owner Jeff Parker, he offered a full refund. A couple days later he reneged. When part of the order was to be delivered, the office told me that I could pay the remainder due when the complete order was delivered. Mr Parker stepped in and stopped this.
When the sofa was delivered, it was defective (one leg does not touch the ground) and the manager offered a full refund. Mr Parker reneged again.
When the chairs were delivered, the back has so much slack in one of the chairs that it has 10" wrinkles in it. Mr Parker's response " I know what they look like" and "we inspected them". Now he says a rep can come next month if I want.
I don't know whether he has a personal grudge against me or he employs discriminatory practices but he seems to make policy on a whim.
$8,000 worth of furniture and I can't even sit on the sofa.
