Too Bad your furniture broke within the hour you took it home

I saved months for this so called nice furniture that I fell in love with and thought it a great way to get it because I used their lay-a-way option. It was spendy to me costing near 800.00. I was very proud and exicted to go make the last payment and pick it up on the same day.

Here is where it all started. I went in up to the counter with my receipt advising I called 2 weeks ago advising I would be in on said day to pick up. They scanned thier computer, again and again and again. The unprofessional sales person called over some one else then they took off in a hurry.

After 20 min he came back to the counter person and they looked in thier computer more. Then they decided to tell me they didn't have the model I placed on layaway. As my head was about to spin another person came over and said it was they same they just changed the model number. Then they produced this furniture. I took a look at it up and down it all seemed to be the same. Then it had yet to be fabric protected and I had to wait for that. Which took another 30 minutes because the person to spray the worthless stuff on the couch was too busy bepoppin to music and on the cell phone. This isn't the worse yet.

So finially I have the Couch and the Love Seat I live 10 min away if that from the store. Get it home get it set up. Sat on the couch and the frame broke in the front middle. I immediatly called and advised who I was, that I was just there less than an hour ago I have the furniture home and it broke. The first thing the man asked was did I buy additional warranty coverage. Which I did not. He stated that the manufacturer of this peice did not have warranties they could extend to replace the item. He said that's too bad I didn't buy the warranty. Nothing they can do. I told them it was just purchased and was told even with that once it was out of the store and no warranty nothing they can do.

So here I am no longer proud of spending 800.00 on new furniture something I've never had and it broken from day one. I lived with a 4x4 block of wood underneath my frame for several months. My father in law made a support for me which has helped but the couch is not as it was to be.

They owe me and I think about it often. I know they neverthink about it and the people they are messing over. I work hard everday for my money, too hard for someone to just take and deliver bad product.
