Microwave less than a year old is rusting inside and Made in China. Quincy

Received LGE microwave for Christmas 2006. I noticed some discoloring in sept. now in december a big piece of lining on bottom under glass turntable has come off and it is rusted underneath, and I called their support and was told I had to have a receipt. After they took the serial number and model number, they then put me on hold and a supervisor asked for the model and serial number again.
He just said the same thing you need a receipt. When I said you can't read the receipt it was printed on those kind that disappear after about 6 months, he said he has some of those receipts that were still legible after 2 years. Here in Illinois those don't last long, they're cheap fax type, I saw the receipt and all you can make out is kmart. While looking for model and serial number which is on a stick on sticker, I noticed it's made in China and there isn't any permanent lge nameplate on it. So it's just the cheapest bidder from china type thing.
I won't buy another lge goldstar product ever. The way their customer support talked to me, you would have thought I stole the microwave and was trying to get one paid for by the supervisor.
The motto "the customer is always right" at LGE does not apply. Theirs is"The customer is always wrong"!!! And we'll argue with them even when the customer is right, just so we don't have to repair the product. They also put me on hold for a half hour when waiting for a supervisor, hoping I would hang up.
No more LGE for me. Or sony!!!
