SURPLUS FREIGHT has and absolute surplus of bulls&%t. They lie about their furniture, lie about their mattress warranties, lie about where they got the furniture and lie when you have a problem. They are like your 1970's greasy used car salesman pawning off bad furniture and bad mattresses. I bought a bedroom set from them and they claimed it was a solid wood.
I blame myself for not doing more research but they seemed believable at the time. Turns out the furniture was particle board, cost the same as a set anywhere else, and they would not return the defective pieces after they were delivered broken. I also got a mattress with the set. Supposed to have a 10 year warranty.
That was a month ago. Springs are popping out the side today and they claim warranty is not in effective because its "surplus freight". So why did they tell me about the warranty in the first place as a selling point. These guys are scam artists. There building is a dive. They lie to get you to buy and then dont let you return when their crap breaks. Its ridiculous. Not sure how they are even in business. Avoid this place like the plague. They are located in Dedham, I think in Worcester too. You will not be satisfied.
