Here is a brief summary of the crime committed by the above-indicated person:
I was looking for pool re-plastering contractor since March. Contacted several companies and collected an estimates. Found flyer in my mailbox from Danco Pool Services. Dallas Daniel Ward gave me an estimate, which was about average in price offered by any other pool remodeling company. However, there was very attractive footnote in his estimate: he offered the material called gel coat and the life time warranty on it!
I've contacted Better Business Bureau in Dallas and they assured me that there was no complaints filled against Danco Pool Services with BBB.
On April 16 Dallas Daniel Word show up with a contract and his crew his wife. He asked me to put 50% down and I gave him $1,300 in cash. They assured me that there is no need for them to be there while pumps are draining the pool and left my house.
I was totally confused because I couldn't understand how they going to remodel our pool without having a crew, materials and equipment. Dallas Daniel Ward and his wife dressed clean cloths and I didn't observe any indications that would confirm that they were present to do the job they were paid for. I was desperate in trying to find any explanation of what was happening and started searching for material called gel coat.
Suddenly Dallas Daniel Ward came back with his pretty wife. When I've started questioning him about the job and materials, he became rude and aggressive and responded that I have signed the contract with him and my time to ask questions ran out.in few minutes they were gone.
I reached him on his cell phone and asked when they going to be back. He responded that the pool should dry completely before they can start working on it.
I've started searching an internet and found that gel coat is the paint. Being a chemist I realized immediately that there is no warranty on any paint, especially if you use it to paint the swimming pool. When I reached HK Research, the America's leading gel coat company, I found that's the cheapest paint in U.S.
Found rip off report on Dallas Daniel Ward. Author: Ralph, Southlake, Texas. I reached Better Business Bureau in Dallas and was shocked since they refused to accept my complaint because there was no address indicated for Danco Pool Services. That's why there were no complaints filed against him!
On April 17 they do not show up. I found that several pool owners become victims of Dallas Daniel Ward and finally got the picture what was happening. Usually pool owners gave the checks to Dallas Daniel Ward. He has been leaving when paid and cashed the checks immediately. He cashed the checks while draining the pools, in other words he been draining the money uninterrupted since 2002.in most cases he never came back.in some cases he did and that was even worst because he was getting another 50% from pool owners for the job that has never been completed.
On April 18 I've got certified letter from Dallas Daniel Ward stating that I owe the money to him and our total balance is $1,560.

An address is fictitious as I found from consumer complaints posted by Connie, Texas in June.
I responded to his letter with request to bring the materials to my house (if he bought any) along with the receipts and appear no later than April 19, to complete the job.in other words, I gave him a chance. Last chance. Otherwise, he must to return the money.
In late afternoon of April 19, Dallas Daniel Ward show up screaming open the gate, we came to finish your pool, dropped the Spanish man with materials, grout for $10 and straw map and quickly disappeared.in hour or so I found Spanish worker resting under the tree, he responded no material. I took the picture of our matchless pool remodeling and that was it. My patience was over.
I filed the criminal charges against Dallas Daniel Ward for stealing our money but Bedford Police was insisting this is a civil mater. They provided me with an address that appears on Dallas Daniel Ward driver's license and advised to file the lawsuit against him in Small Claims Court. I've checked this address and found that was a building for lease in Ridgmar Mall near to Ross store
Dallas Daniel Ward stole my money, $1,300 in cash and that's criminal offense. On April 25, I filed request to open an investigation and on criminal offense with Bedford Law Enforcement Center and they finally said okay that's criminal offence we will investigate it. Your consumer complaintss helped me to make it happen. Now I am asking for your help to stop this criminal. Please call detective Pond at 817-952-2445 and tell him if you have been made victims. Dallas Daniel Ward has shown a consistent pattern of fraud spanning through the years. He needs to be arrested and taken to the prison for stealing resident's money and for performing slummy job on our pools, instead remodeling them. We need to bring him on local news that everyone could see him. I am asking for usacomplaints.com help in bringing media to help us. It's been since 2002!
If the others who have been made victims would like to contact me, please do so. We need to teach Dallas Daniel Word properly in appointing him a place in Tarrant County jail as a reward for his pool business.
