I purchased a brand new house from Arthur Shelton in May '06; I was the first to buy in Eden, NC from him. I purchased my house approx. 2.5 months in advance from Closing. Which gave him and his guys ample amount of time to finish my house. After about a month in my new house, I notice I didn't have any grass growing. I contacted Mr. Shelton he explained that summer time was not a good time to grow grass and that he knew he would be coming back to my house in the Fall to replant. Ok I waited. Contacted him on several occassion, he gave me excuses after excuses, finally when Nov. Came around, he promised to replant my yard in the Spring '07 and gave me his landscaper's name and phone # (Ray Fuller with Fuller Landscaping) I contacted Mr. Fuller and we talked several times. He agreed to come out mid Feb. To replant; which he kinda did but I noticed after he left that there were still BIG rocks in my front yard along with a bunch of branches in my back yard... How can you aerogate/plug with rocks and branches in the yard... Also I contacted Mr. Shelton in the Winter of '06 about a squeek in one of my bedroom floors, he promised to take a look and repair it. He put me off for several weeks and then told me not to call him again that he would not talk to me again. Please do not buy from this man unless everything is up to par before signing on the dotted line. He does not live up to his promises nor stand by his word.
