I'm in the process of trying to buy a home downtown and everything was going fine until the owner said that he didn't want to repair the items that fell on the building inspection. He was telling us that if we wanted him to make the repairs he will have to take the price up. Now my agent has cut fees to help this deal and he wants to sell the home to us $27,000 over the price he paid for the home in 2004 and doesn't want to make any repairs. The highest sold condo in the area went for $122,900.00 fully rehab. This is the bad business practices buyers have to face. Now we have to start over and look for another place to try to buy. The mess up part about the whole thing is that the condo is not going to apprasie for the price he is trying to sell it for.
