I ordered and paid for a sump pump alarm, including a shipping and handling charge. The item showed up postage due. The vendor sent the item in a USPS flat rate envelope. The postage was due because the vendor exceeded the maximum dimensions, which are clearly stated and available on this thing they call the internet. The postage and handling charge (which the vendor automatically calculated and added more than covered the postage charge.
When I asked about the problem, they refused to provide the small refund I requested to cover the postage I paid (again), and referred me to the post office to seek a refun. This was even after I politely sent them a link to the very clear USPS guidelines for shipping. They offered lots of nice words, like most scam artists do, and now just ignore. Please beware, and if you encounter this let me know.
