George E. Bowie And George E. Bowie II, Doing Business As NU VIEW Remodeling Specialists
Ripoff theft by deception breach of contract failure to deliver or respond Clifton Virginia

George E. Bowie, and George E. Bowie II, father & son team, Doing Business as (DBA) NU View Remodeling, defrauded and misrepresented several unwitting victims, including this writer, in the Northern Virginia / Maryland area within the past 12 months.

My contract with NU View, executed by George E. Bowie II, for the replacement of 16 Windows and two doors at a cost of $15,215.00, went into effect October 1.in accordance with the contract, I provided George E. Bowie II a 1/3% deposit payment of $5,071, by check.

As noted in the contract, George E. Bowie II promised to deliver within 4 - 6 weeks. After several weeks passed, I started calling NU View only be told each time that the windows and doors were still in the production phase.

Finally, after 100s of phone calls, mostly unanswered, sometime during last week of April beginning of May, I was given a delivery date of Jun 10. I started calling at least a week prior to Jun 10 to confirm delivery and install to no avail.

On the afternoon of Jun 10, I received a call from George E. Bowie (Sr.) apologizing for the "no show" saying he was too sick to talk as was suffering from pnemonia and that he would call me on the 12th of Jun to reschedule the delivery. I have never heard back from George Sr. Or anyone from NU View.

From Jun 12 - Jul 6, I left numerous messages at the NU View business phone number as well as the cell number of George E. Bowie II (571-259-9815) none of which have been unanswered.

On Jul 6, I forwarded, via registered mail, a notice demanding delivery within 15 days. Several days later I contacted the Clifton Post Office and was informed that my letter, along with several other registered articles addressed to the same, were unclaimed.

A drive-by to the NU View listed address, 7124 Ivakota Road, Clifton, VA, conducted by me on Jul 3, revealed and confirmed this to be the residence of George E. Bowie (Sr.). Ivakota Road is a private, upscale, residential area with widely posted "residents and resident guests only" and "no transpassing" signs. Most of the houses on Ivakota Road sit on large 5-acre lots, ranging anywhere from $800,000 to over $1,000, 000.
