Ripoff I paid 200$ as down payement for a bedroom set next thing i know the store is closed and the phones numbers are disconnected

It is outrageous how furniture stores can operate in New York city, get people's money and disappear without a trace.

I have been ripped off by aGalaxy furniture located on 125th and St Nicholas. After they took my 200 $ as a down payement for a bedroom set that costs 895 $, i never see them again. The store is now closed, they disconnected all the phone lines, and there is no information availabla at the consumers bureau since" furniture stores are not licensed"

I need to find thiese people because i might not be the only one. What i need is my money and justice!!!
How can a store be doing business and ripping people off without the business department knowing anything or where they could be?

So, anyone can open up a business and close it whenever he wants or fly away with people's money!
