I watched a television advertisement on 5-20 about Power Storm Vacuum by Milinex. This advertisement made statements of purchasing a vacuum and receiving another vacuum free. This struck my interest.
I called the customer service order# that was displayed on the tv screen and a telephone prompt confirmed the name of the product that was on the television directly asking for my name, shipping address and phone#-Then it asked for my credit card# and offered several different options concerning the product except for the offer made on tv-
I never selected an option - I held the phone to see if a csa would pick up but they never did -so I hung up the phone-
The advertisement contained an e-mail address so I logged on to the web-site to find another contact# and I did (1-800-716-8667) after dailing several times and waiting approximately 10minutes each time the line would click off (but it ask me to hold for a csr and there was music playing while I waited)
It also states to e-mail them for a faster response - (so I did)-
My first e-mail was just to ask questions on the product and to make absolutely sure the phone order did not go through - (I received a customercare response stating they will contact me a.S.A. P)
Well. That never happened - so I sent 2 more e-mails
explaining what took place on the phone and requesting that they confirm by e-mail or phone that my bankcard will not be charged - (I was never contacted)-
On 5-24 my bank acct was charged 156.85 by this company using 1-800-278-6886 as a contact #- The product was only one payment of 59.85 or (3) payments of 19.95- (I am very upset)-
My husband made contact on 5-26 using 1-800-278-6886 and was issued a order#3733672 by rep 15- He was told it will be 5 working days until the acct will be credited - (still no credit) (or product)-
There was never an order confirmation - I never gave them permission to charge my account-and I never chose the product that I wanted to order - (HELP!!!)
