I purchased a condominium from Sedgwick Properties Development Corporation more than 11 months ago. And after 11 months I still have significant and expensive punch-list and warranty items (amounting to well over $3000 dollars) that have not been addressed and that seriously detract from the livability of my unit. Most are major flaws in workmanship and quality; however, one is simply over $900 that Sedgwick has owed me for
contracted hardware that has never been delivered. Now that they have been paid Sedgwick appears to have no interest in fulfilling their side of the contract. Many other owners in this development also have unfinished punch-list and warranty items and the building common areas are still in need of a great deal of work more than 1 year after units have been sold and occupied. Clearly Sedgwick Properties is a company that will take your money and run. The HOA has been forced to start legal proceedings against Sedgwick Properties. You would be well advised to not make the mistake of doing business with Sedgwick Properties. Sedgwick Properties developments include Tower on the Park in Denver Colorado, and Old Towne Place, Park View East, and Marquee Michigan Ave all in Chicago Illinois.
