On July 13, I ordered a sand filter (TR-50) and 2" side valve online from Swimming Pools Etc. The two packages were left on my front porch by UPS a week later. I hired someone to come out to install it. After we removed the old filter and opened up the sand filter box, we found out that the tank closure, o-ring, air relief valve, gauge, and any paper work associated with the sand filter was missing (probably all in the same bag).
I then called Swimming Pools Etc. And they said they couldn't do anything about it and I had to email support. Since I couldn't wait another week to resolve this and didn't want to pay the pool guy again to come out and finish installing the filter, I went to a pool store and purchased these missing parts (another $52.05).
I feel they need to either credit me back the amount I spent on parts that I already paid for or send me the missing parts. I conveyed this to their "support" multiple times and have not even had an acknowledgement. When I call, they tell me I have to go thru support. This is a big run-around and I didn't get what I paid for.
Having just read the consumer complaints on this company, it seems I am not the only one getting the run-around.
