Oakwood Corporation
Ripoff We purchased a 2001 brand new home from Oakwood. We have now found out after having floor damage near the heat and air unit that the unit inside is dated 1991. We are having a time getting anyone to talk to us

We purchased a home from the Oakwood dealer in Sumter, SC in 2002. It was brand new. We did not have any problems until this year. We noticed that the flooring in the laundry room was discolored. We also had problems with the AC unit. We had someone come out and found out that the unit is dated 1991 which was several years prior to our purchase of a supposed new home. We have tried to contact Oakwood with no success. We even tried to contact the manufacturer of the AC but have had no response.

I would like to get any help I can. I now need to replace the unit and the floor.
