Ripped off! - billing

Ok, so we are all human and do make mistakes, go figure. I accidently sent a payment to Sprint thru MY bank and MY ACCOUNT for my ex-wife's discontinued cell service. After about 3 days I noticed it and contacted my bank, too late already accepted by Sprint. This was back in Dec., its now March and they still have my money. They claim that they cannot send my money directly to me but can send it to my ex-wife. What they will send it to her, for what?
They tell me that the money was sent to hher account and she is the only person tthat can recieve it back, but they sure can accept it from me or anyone else. I will not give up on these scammers, If I have too, I will get an attorney to fight them just over the principle of It all! Glad that I do not do business with this discusting company...
