I received a letter from these people with Canadian postage, a personal envelope (not a business envelope) and a check for $3500. They wanted $2400.00 back to "pay taxes" on an award of $50,500

I received in the mail a letter with Canadian postage, from the Customers Compensation Center in Tappan, NY. It also contained a check for $3500 drawn on a First Niagara Bank.
