We have a GE Infusor washer that is without a doubt one of the worst pieces of crap I have ever owned. It is supposed to be energy effecient, thus using less water and supposedly electricity yet when you have to wash either smaller loads or rewash items that don't come clean, where is the savings? Black clothes are very problematic as they get wrinkled in the machine and dirt is trapped in the wrinkles necessitating the rewashing of two or three items at a time. The hot water control does not work properly and the entire control panel has been replaced with no improvement. Sometimes when washing towels on hot water, it will fill with hot water, then the next time, cold water only. GE was unable to explain to me why that was happening. I am now frustrated to the point of taking the washer out and buying a competitive product. I am considering taking the present washer to the gun range, painting GE all over it and using it for target practice and inviting others to do the same.
