Be warned about this guy. Conman, scam artist, thief, lier, pervert
Trust your instincts when you first meet him.
Don't let his lies and con fool you.
Lets start with the lies.
First, Doug claims to know a lot about Porsche repair and the cars overall. But ask him about basic Porsche Mechanics and you soon realize Mr Doug Weaver the Porsche expert is lost and is clueless.
He will promise things he will never deliver.
Doug has no idea what he is doing. From simple repairs to God forbid you need something complex. All his work is sloppy. My car came back with several original screws missing and his excuse was oh "sorry man, my stupid mechanic was going to finish it and he messed it up"
After messing it up again and again and getting the run around for over 6 weeks for work that was to get done in 1 week, my lawyer friend showed up and took my car back.
ALL those cars on the lot are from poor customer he has ripped off. I am one of those customers and interesting enough, out of complete coincidence I was complaining to another Porsche owner about Doug and it turned out he was also ripped off by Doug in the same way.
""Oh the work will only take 1 week. Oh i had some trouble with the part it will be done in 4 days. My mechanic didn't show up and I had an emergency it will take 3 more days. Oh we tested the work and the part failed so were sending it back to manufacturer and have to get new part it will take another 1 week.""
Once he is done, your lovely Porsche is among the pile of rotting cars on his filthy lot.
Also, be warned that he tries to be friendly with you and get close so you dont sue him and take him to court. He tried to make buddy buddy with me by showing me his hot girls that he does work with and how he would do this to them and a whole lot of dirty things. I always felt dirty walking out of his shop and it wasn't the grease.

Doug Weaver and PS Racing of Burbank is nothing but a scam artist, a lier, theif and someone who needs to go to jail for and for sure lose that business so he doesnt do this to anyone else.
